Product research grounded in manufacturer data.
Datasheet Media is an independent publisher of product research sites. Our sites compare appliances, tools and tech using the specifications manufacturers publish, so every number on a page can be traced back to a document.

Our brands
We launch one site at a time, and keep each one narrow enough to do properly.
QuietSpecs
Which one is actually quiet?
QuietSpecs ranks home appliances, tools and tech by the noise levels their manufacturers publish, from dishwashers and ceiling fans to generators and power tools. Every guide quotes each figure with the unit and test condition the maker printed, and lists the documents it was read from.

How we work
The same editorial rules apply on every site we publish.
Manufacturer figures only
We do not run a test lab. Our writers read spec sheets, owner's manuals and certification directories, and quote what they find. When a manufacturer publishes no figure, the page says so rather than estimating one.
Context stays attached
A rating depends on the unit, the setting and the distance it was measured at. Our pages keep those conditions next to every number, and never rank figures that were measured under different conditions against each other.
Independent and disclosed
Our sites earn through clearly disclosed affiliate links and advertising. Brands cannot pay for placement in a guide, and revenue has no bearing on how products rank.
About Datasheet Media
Datasheet Media was founded in 2026 by Stanley Alu, the editor of QuietSpecs. It began with an observation from years of writing product reviews: the specifications shoppers care about most are often published by manufacturers, but rarely read carefully.
The company publishes research sites that do that reading. Writers work from source documents with research assistance from software, pages carry dated revision histories, and corrections are checked against the original document before anything changes.
